LA native who comes from an athletic background having played numerous sports my entire life. As I grew older, I specifically focused on lacrosse and football at Loyola High School (class of 2008). I am super competitive and that has carried over into my career as a CrossFit Competitor. To date, some of the biggest stages I have participated in, include: the 2014 Southwest CrossFit Regionals and a 2015 NPGL Pro Day Invitational. Aside from competing, I am a fitness enthusiast. It led me to Colorado State University where I studied Exercise Science and Sociology. As a Personal Trainer and Strength Conditioning Coach I have worked with a wide variety of individuals, however the demographic I find most rewarding are those that give 100 percent. If you can dig that, I think we can accomplish something special together.

A body in motion stays in motion! Fitness and a holistic lifestyle are what I live by. I’ve had an active lifestyle my entire life – starting with gymnastics and cheerleading as soon as I could walk. I cheered for Illinois State University where I later became the Head Coach for several years. During college, I worked for Universal Cheerleaders Association as a head instructor coaching youth, junior high, high school, and college cheerleaders! Helping others be their best and reach their full potential is my passion. I’m so excited to join the team at Different Breed and help you become your best self!
Growing up I was always an athletic kid who played lots of sports, with my favorite being basketball. I competed for school and Amateur Athletic Union teams through college. After taking a hiatus from competing for the years directly following college, I decided to return to athletics in discovering CrossFit, which led me to do complete 180 and change my life for the better. I have never looked back. Through CrossFit, I was eventually introduced to the sport of Weightlifting. With a USAW Level 1 Coaching Certification, I have been coaching Weightlifting for the past 2 years. My clients range from high level athletes at local and national competitions to people who are interested in improving their technique and getting stronger. I recently attended an International Training Camp in Moscow, Russia that was hosted by Dmitry Klokov, one of the greatest weightlifters of our time. Weightlifting is not just a passion for me, it is a lifestyle. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for this sport with you at Different Breed!
What up! My name is Rob and I coach Breathwork here at Different Breed through our Breathwork(out) series and weekly Breathwork class. What’s breathwork you ask? It’s a form of active meditation done lying on your back and breathing to music. I believe it to be the best answer to stress that we have available to us and it’s my mission to share it with you. I played football at Georgetown University until 2010 and upon graduating, spent several years grinding it out working in Sales in Chicago before moving to LA The desire to feel the best I could, through movement outdoors, meditation and community led me to this unique way of breathing. Through Breathwork, I have gained clarity on my life and felt the calling to share this powerful tool with others. Sending all the love your way!
I am a double major at Loyola Marymount University, studying Film and Political Science with emphasis on production and international relations. I love fashion, music, artistic pursuits, as well as nutrition and exercise. Fitness is important to not just me, but also to my family, starting with my mom who is an accomplished bodybuilder. I am glad to be here and support different fitness goals as a part of the community!
